About our blend...

Why do we use Atlas Cedarwood in this blend?

Energetically, it is an oil of transformation, to be used when one is wanting to make personal changes in their lives. It grounds us, to allow spiritual growth to manifest physically. Cedarwood is said to aid us in calling on the wisdom from generations past, after all Cedarwood trees can live for 1000-2000 years. Imagine all the knowledge they accumulate in that time. Allow this oil in your life when you want grounded inner guidance for positive change.

Why so we use Rose Absolute in this blend?

Rose has the most diverse therapeutic affects on the body of all essential oils and is highly regarded in the aromatherapist tool kit. It is an excellent oil for any problems associated with the female reproductive areas, regulating menstruation, lessening the emotional affects of PMS. Mojay, author of Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit, states that Rose is one of the best oils for love. “The compassion of rose is revealed in its ability to heal emotional wounds, when rejection or loss has injured ones capacity for self-love and nurturing, rose oil is said to bring a sweet, gentle comfort that aids in restoring the trust that makes love possible again."

Why do we use Sweet Orange in this blend?

This oil is an antiseptic, antibacterial and anti fungal, making it an excellent oil for the transition to cooler months as it will aid in protecting the body from illness. It is a digestive agent and a potent antidepressant, it is said to encourage the circulation of stagnant Qi that accumulated in the liver, stomach and intestines. Considered one of the best all-round oils for the digestive system. It is also beneficial for the central nervous system, acting as an antidepressant for states of anxiety, or when the mind is distressed. In TCM Sweet orange oil is recommended for encouraging good communication with oneself and others. Energetically, it brings happiness to the heart, regeneration of the spirit, and vitality to the soul. It conquers fears and obsessive over-thinking.

Why do we use Jasmine in this blend?

Considered one of the most beneficial essential oils for nervous anxiety, restlessness and depression. It is overwhelmingly uplifting and Fizzer Rizzi has stated the scent of Jasmine is so powerful in it's capability to change our mood, that we have little other choice than optimism. It aids us in riding the waves of our emotional tides, assisting us with love, compassion and purpose. Jasmine brings the desires of the heart to light within you, illuminating the truth you seek within yourself. Lavabre describes its subtle qualities as; it releases inhibition, liberates imagination, develops exhilarating playfulness and has the power to transcend physical love, fully releasing the male and female sexual energy.

Why do we use Clary Sage in this blend?

This earthy and musky floral attracts self-love and balance to your aura. It protects against spells of melancholy, paranoia and stress, which can often be related to concerns around our purpose and path in this lifetime. It cleanses and purifies, while allowing and encouraging you to listen to your inner wisdom and the wisdom of the earth. It encourages you to live up to your full potential. Clary Sage is one of the most important oils for balancing the endocrine system and for women. All three phases of a woman’s life can benefit with Clary sage’s calming and balancing affects on the body's production of hormones and the central nervous system.

Why do we use Lemon Myrtle in this blend?

Worwood notes any oil in the myrtle family is specifically beneficial for seeking out truth and forgiveness in oneself and others. It gives support to the unsupported, teaches us of the divine love which embraces all things and goes far beyond our own personal understanding of love. Lemon Myrtle, in particular, is beneficial for people who have repeated the same mistakes in love and life and wish to bring about lasting positive change. It’s a great essential oil for the heart chakra. Physically, it supports the lungs and like Atlas Cedarwood, helps remedy chronic conditions of the lungs such as coughs and bronchitis.

Why do we use Lavender in this blend?

With many physical and psychological properties, Lavender is essential to this blend. It works to decrease both physical and emotional stress by inhibiting the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system functions. It acts like Tea tree, having antimicrobial properties and making essential for protecting against airborne illness. It is said to link the energies of the base chakra to the crown chakra, therefore an excellent oil for meditation, it will encourage balance, stability and self love, throughout the body.
